Rock The Bells 2010 Here I Come!!

So Rock The Bells is an annual Hip-Hop festival that began in Southern Cali but has now grown into global annual event. Last year was my first year attending and it was great! I got to see Nas and Damien Marley,Big Boi, Wu Tang and so many other amazing artists. And rumor has it that Lauryn Hill ( whom I am OBSESSED WITH!!!) might be there with A Tribe Called Quest. Nothing has been set in stone but either way I WILL BE THERE! and if Ms. Hill is there I might just cry from Joy! here is the line up of acts so far...

Torn.

At what point is something over? when is it that you feel like its not right? how am i to know the difference between what my heart wants and what my mind is telling me. if it doesn't feel like it used to, and as bad as you want it to feel that way again but you can't seem to get it to be as smooth as it used to be. what do I do when I'm torn between what I feel and what I think. how does a small disagreement lead to creating two opposites. when is it time to let something go?when is it wrong? when is it right? why should I compromise who I am to be something someone wants me to be? At the end of the day I am who I am and I can't allow someone to tell me how they want me to be. I just don't think I can.

This Past week was Style Week at SCAD which meant that we had a group of amazing fashion icons come and speak to us all week. Here is a photo with Fern Mallis, who is basically the creator of FAHSION WEEK!! yess i met her and got a photo with her. I also got to meet Kelly Cutrone and even got her to sign my copy of her book "If you have to cry go outside"...all in all I'd say I've had a pretty memorable week ;)

So I just had to show ya'll my new pencil sharpener...its a robot!! and when I sharpen my pencil it winds up and moves, you know like those wind up toys you get in mickey d kids meals....anywho I love it!! haha

Lost Soul...

Hello Hello,
I know its been a long while!! sorry for the delay just been so caught up. So update on my life... got a job in GA and quit after about a month, which I NEVER!! do...i dont just quit anything no matter how hard but my boss was evil and I almost went crazy to make a long story short...what else? the mac in my life broke down so i was without access to the world for a few but now I'm backk :D....  hmm while I've neglected my blog one of my veryy close friends has started her own blog, and of course it's awesome just about life/love/hate all of the struggles we are constantly dealing with so ya'll shoud check it out! here is the link  The Word.

This is a video showing designer Rachel Antonoff's latest collection. I am in LOVE. Not only with the collection but the way she uses her inspiration to create a whole setting. It's great it reminds me of clue which is one of my favorite games :) enjoy.

So as most of us know this past week was fashion week in New York. From all of the collections I've seen so far Jason Wu has been my favorite. 2010 SAG Awards

Here are a few of the best and WORST of the 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

I adored Kate Hudson in this white Elie Saab Gown. It fit in all of the right places. She looked bomb!

Diane Kruger pulled of this mustard colored gown. It can be a hard color to pull off but she did it flawlessly.

I thought Justin Timberlake looked cute in this Dolce and Gabbana suit. He always pulls off the bow tie nicely.

Jenna Fischer kept it simple in this violet gown.I've heard alot of bad comments about it but I think she looked good.

Marion Cotillard looked bomb!

I loved Julie Benz in this dress!

And now for the ones I just didn't understand...

Really Drew? I love her but sometimes I really don't know what she's thinking when getting ready for these award shows.

Sofia Vergara def needs some help. The color is bad, look at the bottom she needed to get it altered.

Mariska Hargitay did not pull this Vera Wang off well.

Paula Patton is beautiful as always but I don't think this dress was the best choice for her.

Kiernan Shipka, this poor child. First off baby this dress is way too grown and look at the shoes! her momma needed to help her out.
